How can a doula impact my birth?
As a Certified Birth Doula I work closely with expecting people and families through pregnancy to ensure that you are educated and informed about birth as well as supported and prepared to start this beautiful new chapter. I provide physical and emotional support during the length of your labor and delivery. It’s also important to me to help facilitate communication with the staff, Midwife or OBGyn to ensure you have all the information you need to make informed decisions regarding your baby's birth. I’ll provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, make suggestions for labor progress, help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other techniques for your comfort. I work directly for you to provide you the support you deserve.
